CR. LUNDON IS WARY REASSURED BY MAYOR "It is not my intention to sign any documents without perusing them.” This announcement was made by Cr. J. R. Lundon at last evening’s meeting of the City Council when the Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, moved that for the purpose of formal execution of documents of transfer in connection with the handing over of the tramwav undertaking to the Transport Board, Cr. Lundon and Cr. Burton sign the transfer. "You will have an opportunity of perusing it before you are asked to sign,” his Worship assured the new councillor.
