EXECUTIVE A meeting of the control board of the Auckland Football Association was held last evening, Mr. A. Menzies, presiding. On the recommendation of the senior division committee it was decided that on account of playing Reed, an unregistered player. Thistle should forfeit the points gained in the match against Celtic last Saturday, the game being awarded to Celtic. Thistle won the match by three goals to one. A further recommendation that registrations of H.M.S. Dunedin players for senior clubs already on hand should be cancelled and that no further registrations should be accepted was endorsed. The decision was made in support of an appeal from H.M.S. Dunedin that Navy players should not be included in senior clubs.
