It is authoritatively learned that the Discovery’s Antarctic voyage probably will produce very important results in the development of whaling in which Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania will participate both commercially and financially. Inquiries indicate a cordial co-operation of Britain with Australia and New Zealand, to stimulate the whaling industry in the Antarctic, which shares with Labrador the possibility of being the worlds future chief sources of supply ol whale oiL _
