DIAMOND WEDDING

MR. AND MRS. FENTON Mr. and Mrs. William Fenton, of Grey Lynn, will celebrate the diamond jubilee of their wedding to-morrow. Pioneers of Auckland, they were married in the original St. Paul’s Church on April 28, 1869. Mr. Fenton was born on the borders of the counties of Mavo and Sligo Ireland, on March 29. 1844. and his wife in Kent in 1852. Mr. Fenton came to New Zealand in 1865. and his wiU in 1869. The Thames goldfields were the scene of Mr. Fenton's early activities after which ho farmed at’ Matakanai Mr. and Mrs. Fo n to n have one son and two daughters living.
