PRISON TERM IMPOSED Press Association NELSON, Monday. Three months’ imprisonment were imposed on John Edward William Phillips, who was charged in the Police Court at Nelson to-day with wrongful conversion of a motor-car. The magistrate said accused’s action was most barefaced and impudent. From the beginning there was no doubt he had no intention of buying the car, which he had obtained from a garage proprietor for a day’s trial.
