V The erection of a new Roman Cathr olic priiTiary school has just been bet gun in Te Aroha on a large section 1 fronting Whitaker Street and Brick s Street. The section is one of the finest j Y in Te Aroha, and cost £1,350. The building is to be of brick, roofed j e with New Zealand tiles. It will con- - tain three class-rooms and a corridor, 0 115 ft long, will run the length of the 3 building. In addition there will be a i. teachers’ room and a small library, j 3 The interior will be finished in rimu, [ s and the ceilings will be of fibrous J 1 plaster. It Is estimated that the build- :- ing will cost £5,000. 1 A hall is to be built in connection with the new school at a cost of £1,200. This will also he finished in j rimu.
