! FINAL MEETING OF BOARD (Special to THE SUN) OPOTIKI, To-day. The final meeting before the elecT lions of the Bay of Plenty Power Board was held yesterday. The engineer presented a report showing that t 994 k.v.a. had been used during the quarter ended March 31, at a cost of 3 £I,BBO, thus easily exceeding the j board’s guarantee to the department. Several new services had been erected during the month by the board’s ; 3 staff. Pole-making work had finished, ] J and the yards had been cleaned up and ; j handed back to their owners. A total I j-* of 15 sets of protective apparatus had ! been erected to prevent damage from 3 falling wires, and the ‘connected load r was now 3,774 k.v.a. The chairman of the board, Mr. H. R. Hogg, thanked the members for 3 their help and co-operation during the , last two years. It is probable that all j the members‘Will stand for re-election. t . - 1
