ROAD NATIONALISATION
DISCUSSION BY A.A.A. A letter concerning the nationalisation of roads, was received by the coun- j I cil of the Auckland Automobile Association from the Franklin agency at last evening's meeting of the council. ! i Considerable discussion followed the ; reading of the letter, during which j I the chairman, Mr. A. Grayson, ad- j 3 mitted that he had no idea what this j “nationalisation” of roads meant. It was explained that Franklin did I not know either, but felt that if the 1 council discussed it some decision I might be arrived at. After some discussion it was de- • cided to refer the question to the ! North Island Motor Union.
