FLIGHT POSTPONED

NEW MOTH FROM SOUTH Unfavourable weather conditions prevailing in the South prevented Major G. A. C. CoVper, instructor to the Auckland Aero Club, and Mr. Spencer Mason, a member of the committee, from hopping-off from Christchurch for Auckland to-day, with the club’s new Moth plane. This Information was received by the secretary of the Aero Club, Mr. Swan, in a telegram from Major Cowper this morning. The message also stated that it was Intended to make the flight next Friday, when it is hoped that the weather will have cleared and it wil be possible to make a one-day trip.

Major Cowper and Mr. Mason left Auckland for Christchurch last Sunday evening to take possession of the Moth Plane, which is the second machine presented to the club by the New Zealand Government.
