WOMAN’S BODY FOUND

MISSING SINCE MONDAY DROWNED IN WAIOEKA RIVER Press Association OPOTIKI, To-day. The body of Mrs. Vazey, a married woman with several children, was found in the Waioeka River late last evening. M* s v VAZEY, who lives at Hikutaia, had been missing since Monday afternoon. A search yesterday revealed her apron lying on the bank of the river and footprints nearby. Dragging operations were carried on all day but the body was not discovered until the evening,. It is believed that she has been suffering from nervous trouble for some time. An inquest is being held this afternoon.
