BERESFORD STREET CHURCH Special Easter services were conducted inltlie Beresford Street Congregational Church all day yesterday by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher. There was a large congregation in the morning when the pastor spoke on “What the Resurrection Means to Christians.” In the afternoon Mr. Fletcher met a large assembly of young people and addressed them on Christ’s rising from the dead. Many people had to be turned away in the evening when Mr. Fletcher spoke on “What the Resurrection Means to the World.’’ A solo. “Sun of My Soul.’’ was sung by Mrs. Reffell. The anthem, “Jesu. Word of God Incarnate,’’ was given by the choir under Mr. William Gemmell. Mr. Fletcher's sermon in the evening was based on Acts 1:3. The preacher dealt with the following points: To whom were the proofs furnished, how the proofs were established and what the proofs meant to the world.
