SISTER MUSICIANS
CONSTANCE AND MARGARET IZARD A rare, treat is promised for Tuesday next and the following Thursday and Saturday, when the Misses Constance Izard, violinist, and Margaret Izard, ’cellist, will be heard in a beautiful programme of modern and classical works. With charming platform manners, free from all affectation, these young ladies are at once “en rapport” with their audience, enthralling them by the magic that seems only that of their own beautiful instruments. The ’cello used by Miss Margaret Izard is an instrument 120 years old. Miss Constance Izard uses a Hungarian violin of very uncommon make and possessing a wonderful tone. Mr. Bernard Page, Wellington City organist, will be at the piano. Special box plan arrangements arc advertised, the plan being at Lewis Eady, Ltd.
Charles Grape win and Anna Chance, the well-known vaudeville team, have been signed by Universal to appear in a talking picture comedy. Work <>n the production started about Christmas lime.
