EDITH HARRHY

ONE CONCERT IN NEW ZEALAND Miss Edith Harrhy, the successful pianist-composer, will make her only public appearance in New Zealand at a concert arranged by Messrs. Lewis Eady, Ltd., in their new concert hall on Tuesday next, April 2. Miss Harrhy is recognised in, London as in the front rank of musicians, and has appeared with many worldfamous artists. Her songs hyjve come into prominence in London, and are included in the repertoire of such artists as John Brownlee, Peter Dawso*', Eraser Gange, and Walter Ivirby. Miss Harrhy will have as associate artists Miss Ina Bosworth, with a reputation in her profession equal to any visiting violinists, also Mr. Len Barnes, who has recently come to live in Auckland, and who made his mark abroad, where he studied. Concertgoers will have the opportunity of hearing his well-trained baritone voice in several new songs, as well as in Editli Harrhy’s popular "Two Songs of the Sea,” also with Miss Harrhy when she will sing her own duet, "In a Gondola.” Miss Harrhy has already made a name for herself in her interpretation of A. A. Milne’s delightful children's poems from “When We Were Very Young,” and her singing of “The King’s Breakfast” is in itself a treat. She will also be heard in a group of pianoforte solos. The booking arrangements are advertised.
