MUNICIPAL CONCERTS

CR. MURRAY TO GIVE FIGURES Facts and figures about civic administration, in general, and municipal concerts in particular, will be given to a public meeting at the Epsom Library at 8 o’clock this evening, when Cr. W. H. Murray, a candidate for the Auckland Mayoralty, will give his views upon the conduct of civic affairs. The data which Cr. Murray has prepared about band concerts and organ recitals follows an interesting investigation of the position by the council. The Mount Eden reservoir burst also will be mentioned by Cr. Murray, who will have for his chairman Mr. E. F. Jones, chairman of the Mount Roskill Road Board.
