MR. T. JOHNSON OF FRANKTON

HAMILTON, To-day.
Mr. Thomas Johnson, formerly member of the Hamilton Boroughl Council, died at Frankton yesterday, aged 49.
Mr. Johnson, who was born in Lancashire. came to New Zealand nearly 30 years ago. Most of his life in thej Dominion was spent near Frankton* He served on the borough council foe five years, and later served on thq Hamilton Borough Council until ill-* health made retirement necessary.
Mr. Johnson was interested in musi<j and organised many for charitable purposes.
