BUILDING AT THREE LAMPS

Another new picture theatre is to be erected in Auckland on the site of the “Britannia,” at Three Lamps, Ponsonby.

The new theatre will be under the joint banner of the Fuller Hayward and Thomas A. O'Brien Theatres. The present structure, which * was renovated some five years ago, is controlled by Thomas A. O'Brien.

Tenders for the erection of the theatre are to be called immediately after the Easter holidays, and it is expected that the theatre will be completed in about four months. The new theatre will have seating accommodation for 950. The architect is Frederick A. Browne.
