The Alayoress’s War Alemorial j League will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday evening next in the com- ' mittee room, Town Hall. The president, Airs. A. D. Campbell, Mayoress, will be in the chair. The league is not an entity of its own, but is composed 1 of a number of working committees, i provided by local societies, each committee having some distinctive work | consonant with the objects of the organisation with which it is con- j nected. After the business is com- ! pleted the gathering will become of a j more informal nature. A cordial invi- j tation is extended to those who are I interested in the work, even if they I have not time to help personally.
