DENTAL CLINIC FOR TE KUITI
Advice has been received by Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P. for Waitomo, from the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atm ore, that he has approved of the grant applied for in connection with the erection of a new dental clinic at the Te Kuiti School. The present temporary clinic was condemned by the department as unsuitable. The school committee raised over £9O, and this, together with grants from various local bodies, brought the total up to £l3O. An estimate of the cost of a suitable bulding was £2BO. The amount raised carried a £2 for £1 subsidy, and the necessary amount required (£9O odd) has been forwarded to the department, the balance being held for the provision of extras for the clinic.
