ST. HELIERS PRESENTATION

The parishioners of St. Philip’s Church gave a pleasant afternoon on Wednesday to Mr. and Mrs. Brown and Miss Gay Brown, of St. Heliers Bay. About 40 friends assembled in the Peerless Hall, which was decorated with greenery and flowers. The Rev. C. Houchen presented Mrs. Brown with a brass bowl and Miss Brown with a trinket box. During the afternoon songs were given by Miss Roach and Mrs. Partridge. Mrs. Brown is a well-known horticulturist, and she has done valuable work in connection with both town and local floral events.
