POST-MORTEM DISCOVERY TRACES OF PHOSPHORUS Traces of phosphorus poisoning were found when a post-mortem examination was held yesterday, following the death of Jean Marie Morrison, aged three and a-half years, who was taken to the Auckland Hospital at 1 o’clock yesterday morning. The girl, who was the only daughter of Mr. V. Morrison. 42 Pollen Street, Grey Lynn, had symptoms indicative of a severe attack of gastro-enteritis. An inquest was opened before Mr. YV. R. McKean, S.M., coroner. After formal evidence had been given the inquiry was adjourned sine die.
