VICEROY OF INDIA MAY VISIT ENGLAND IN JUNE
British Official Wireless Reed. 11.50 a.m. RUGBY, Tuesday. The India Office has announced that the Secretary of State for India, Viscount Peel, has invited the Viceroy, Lord Irwin, to come to England in June next for short leave not exceeding four months, in order to secure an opportunity of personal discussion with his Excellency. Lord Irwin has accepted the invitation, provided that the state of public affairs permits. The King has approved of the appointment of Viscount Goschen of Madras to act as Viceroy and Gover-nor-General of India during Lord Irwin’s absence on Aaa*©- _ _
