ANGLO-AMERICAN WAR PREDICTED BY TROTSKY

Press Association) Reed. 9.40 a.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, Tuesday. “The world is moving inevitably toward a war between Britain and America within 10 years,” predicted Leo Trotsky, the Russian exile, in an interview with local newspapers. “It may not begin between England and America, but both certainly will eventually be involved, because America is desirous of being mistress of the seas, and intends to deprive England of naval supremacy. The Kellogg Pact will only hasten war.”
