FIFTY YEARS MARRIED

RESIDENTS OF EPSOM To-dav two old residents of Auckland, Air. and Mrs. A. T. Good, of Pa Road, Epsom, celebrated the oOtli anniversary of their marriage. Jlr. and Airs. Good were married on March 11’, 1579, in the house of the bride’s parents, Alten Road, by the Rev. John Law. a Wesleyan minister. Mrs. Good's father (the late Mr. James Gilbert!) arrived in Auckland in the barque Tyne, in October. IS4I, while Mr. Good’s father arrived in IS6O on the ship Caducous. Mr. Gilberd helped to build the first St. Paul’s Church on Britomart Mill, and was for many years superintendent of St. Paul's Sunday School.

When Mr. Good's father came to Xew Zealand he brought eight children with him. Mr. and Mrs. Good have one son, Mr. Wallace Good, of Auckland. Before his retirement, Mr. Good was a printer by trade for 37 years.
