DISEASE PLAGUE BOMBS
SUSPICION BUT NO PROOF (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 1.40 p.m. LONDON, Tues. Replying- to Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy, Sir L. Worthington-Evans. Secretary for War, said that he had no information regarding the Germans using disease plague bombs during wartime, except what was contained in the official history of the war. Lieut.-Commander Kenworthy asked: “Can you refute this latest, war lie? The medical services provide no evidence that such projectiles were used by the Germans.” “It is true that there is no evidence, but there is a suspicion,” replied the Secretary for War.
