FINAL FOR DENISON CUP Two semi-finals and a final for the president’s (Mr. W. Denison) trophies were completed by the Waitemata Club on Saturday. The crews were:—T. Impey (str), E. Bishop, R. Sherson, A. Young (bow); J. H. Beesley (str), C. T. Keegan, N. Hunt, R, Pierce (bow); A. M. Mackay (str), C. B. Read, C. C. Cairns, T. Conway (bow); C. S. Fearon (str), D. Shore, J. Howard, J. Hammond (bow). First Semi-final. —Impey beat Beesley by a long length. Second Semi-final. —Mackay beat Fearon. Final.—The crews of Impey and Mackay met in the final. There was little between them, first one and then the other taking the lead. An accident in Mackay’s boat resulted in Impey winning by a length.
