HARVEST THANKSGIVING

ISLAND BOYS TAKE PART The Solomon Island boy 3 who sang hymns in their native language and in English, took part in the harvest festival service at St. John’s Methodist Church, Ponsonby Road, yesterday morning. The preacher was the Rev. J. F. Goldie, president of the late conference. In the evening the minister of the church, the Rev. A. Mitchell gave the address. Miss Laura Stone and Mr. Errington were the soloists, and various appropriate items were given by the choir. The offertories for the day amounted to £BO.
