BOY KNOCKED DOWN BY BUS

A five-year-old boy, Clarence Grouch, of 97 Mount Smart Road, in running across Queen Street, Onehunga. yesterday afternoon narrowly missed a motor truck, belonging to J. j. Craig, which was travelling north. In continuing his course the child was caught by a motor bus going toward Mangere and driven by Tl. Linkhorn. Ho was struck on the .head by the front bumper and knocked down. Dr. W. Howard Thomas found that his injuries were confined to slight abrasions on the back of the head, and shock.
