RUN OVER BY TRAM
GIRL LOSES A LEG Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday. A girl, Mary Winter, aged 11, was struck by a tramcar in Ferry Road this afternoon, and the wheels passed over one foot, almost severing it. She was removed at once to the hospital, where it was found necessary to amputate the leg.
