GIRL’S SUDDEN DEATH

CAUSED THROUGH DISEASE Chronic nephritis and cerebral haemorrhage was said to be the cause of death of Miss Freda Lewis when an adjourned inquest was concluded this morning. Miss Lewis, who was 21 years of age and lived with her parents at 15 School Road. Morningside, died in the Auckland Hospital on January 30. She was found by her father in a state of collapse at 2.30 in the morning. Suggestions that the girl died through strychnine poisoning -wore made when the inquest was opened but were absolutely disproved later. .
