Satisfaction was expressed with the roading work in progress at the island, the board members having made a week-end inspection. A proposal to let a contract fpr quarrying stone at 6d a yard royalty, was agreed to, Mr. T. Walsh objecting. Mr. Aldridge, chairman, said the board needed money.
