TAKAPUNA FIRES
HAYSTACK AND MOTORCYCLE The Takupuna Fire Brigade answered a call to a fire in a haystack owned by Mr. A. Hunter, of Northcote Road, Takapuna. shortly after three o'clock yesterday afternoon, but it was destroyed before the brigade arrived. other damage was done. A fire in a motor-cycle in Hurst - mere Road. Takapuna, at 0 p.m., was suppressed before much damage was done.
