COMPETITIONS IN TAIiRANGA The mid-week run for the Randle Cup, held by the Taurangra. Fire Brigade, resulted in a win for Fireman W. Griffiths, with Fireman J. Downey second, and Deputy-Superintendent Snowden third. The Smith Championship Cup race excited considerable interest, the competitors finishing within seconds of one another. The holder of the cup, Fireman A* Stewart, retained the trophy.
