LAND POLICY APPROVED
HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY While denying any political leaning, the Auckland Horticultural Institute passed a resolution yesterday approving of the Government’s policy for closer land settlement and smaller holdings, together with effective financial assistance. It was decided to approach the Board of Managers of the Auckland Technical College with a view to having pupils taught horticulture and botany.
