NO MOVE IN DOMINION UNPERFECTED METHODS (Front Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. It is not the intention of the Postal authorities to recommend the installation of devices to telegraph photographs until they are more satisfied with the results of transmissions, stated Air. P. Alaenamara, Secretary to the Post and Telegraph Department, to-day. After spending £IOO,OOO, the Australian Post Office has not obtained very satisfactory results, in the opinion of local experts. Short distance work is considered satisfactory, but telephotography at longer distances has disappointed them.
