CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE

YOUNG MAN’S LEG BROKEN A motor-cycle collided with a car at the corner of Manukau Road and Green Lane about 5.30 last evening, and in the collision Bernard Walker, aged 19, received a compound fracture of his left leg. Walker, who lives in New Windsor Road, Avondale, was taken to hospital. His condition this morning was reported to be satisfactory.
