SCHOOLBOYS' TOUR

ENGLISH VISITORS TO DOMINION AUCKLAND ARRANGEMENTS On February 11 about 50 boys from the great public schools of England will arrive in Auckland by the lonic. The boys are touring the Empire in accordance with the scheme suggested by the Rt. Hon. L. C. M. S. Amery, Secretary of State for the Dominions. While in New Zealand the boys, who come from Charterhouse, Clifton, Eton, Harrow, Hailey bury, Lancing, Radley.. Repton, Rugby, Stowe, Tonbridge and Winchester, will visit all the towns and beauty spots of the Dominion. After they leave Auckland they will see Waitomo, New Plymouth, Wellington, Marlborough, Christchurch, Oamaru, Invercargill, Wakatipu, Mount Cook, Wanganui, Rotorua and the Waikato. They will also spend a week on various farms in the Hawke’s Bay and the Wairarapa districts. For the entertainment of the party in Auckland a committee has been set up as follow's: Canon Archdall, chairman; Dr. E. P. Xeale, secretary; and Mr. K. H. Wilson, assistant secretary. Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, the Manufacturers’ Association and the Auckland University College attended the meeting at which this committee was set up.
