MAN CHASED BY CROWD
ATTACKED SIX GIRLS INFURIATED PURSUERS Reed. 10 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Six girls, whose ages range from three to IS, were attacked ill various parts of Leichhardt by a young man, who was later arrested and charged. One girl was knocked down in the street and another had her dress torn off. The assailant was chased by men and women from street to street, but he escaped his infuriated pursuers on each occasion. The police believe the arrest will clean up the mystery of a number of indecent assaults which have occurred in that suburb recently.
