SUDDEN DEATH

Tho sudden death of Mr. Prank Smith occurred at his home at Penrose early this morning, lie was in his usual health last evening, except for feeling a slight giddiness, but when Airs. Smith took him a cup of tea at 6.30 this morning, he was breathing with difficulty. Dr. J. A. Robertson, of Remuera, was called in, but on his arrival Air. Smith was dead. Air. Smith, who was 45 years of age, was an engineer’s fitter employed at the Railway Workshops. He was a patient in the Auckland Hospital for about two years until last August, since when he lias regularly followed his trade. He was a highly respected resident of Penrose, being a prominent member and choirmaster of the local Methodist Church.
