AUCKLAND MARKET The market for most grades of hides was easier at yesterday’s sales. Cow hides averaged from ijd to Id cheaper, and ox hides from Id t.c Jd cheaper. Sheepskins were from Id to lid dearer. There was a good market for skins in general. The Pillowing prices were realised:— Cow Hides.—Best, light, 8 5-Sd to 8 7-Sd: medium.
