LEGACY FOR HOUSEKEEPER
TAILOR'S £IO,OOO PRESENT Handsome gifts made to a housekeeper and a lady's companion were features of two recent wills. Out of a fortune or £41,352, Mr. Reuben George Collicott, of Blakesley Yard, Birmingham, retired tailor, who died last July, aged 73, left £IO,OOO and certain furniture to his housekeeper, Edith Mary Gardner. Mrs. Emma Caroline Morris, of SL Leonards, who died in September, 1926, aged 81, leaving £19,423 gross, bequeathed £3,000 and her interest in the George Hotel, Strand, W.C., and certain furniture to "my dear friend and companion, Louisa Charlotte Gibbs.”
