During the Ulster Tourist Trophy race hold a few months ago a farmer who owned a convenient property collected £175 from motorists parking at points of advantage. The principal seat for the manufacturing of Fordson tractors is being removed by the Ford Motor Company to its plant in Cork, Ireland. No Fordson tractors to-day are being produced in America, though it is indicated that the company is working upon the plans for a new machine. The chief reason for the transfer of SO'per cent, of the tractor-making machinery to Cork is the increasing demands all over Europe. The enlarged plant at Cork will operate two eight-hour shifts, producing 300 tractors a day.
