THREE CARS COLLIDE

ACCIDENT ON GREAT SOUTH ROAD In turning out to pass stationary motor-van on the Great South Road, just north of Braithwaite’s Corner, one of the worst corners on the concrete highway, a service car travelling south was struck by a car going in the opposite direction. It was forced off the road, and almost capsized. Both cars were carrying passengers. After striking the service car, the other vehicle cannoned into another car. All three bore signs of the impact, but the passengers escaped serious injury.
