BIGAMY CHARGE ADMITTED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. A charge of bigamy was ,heard in tho Magistrate’s Court this morning, against Albert Edward Herbert Vince,, a chef, aged 28, who appeared before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., on charges of failing to maintain his wife and of committing bigamy. It was alleged that he went through a form of marriage at Hamilton on June 6, 1928, having been married on December 6, 1923, at Otaki, to Violet Mary Gibbons. “Accused lias frankly admitted, the bigamy charge,*’ said Chief-Detective Carroll, in applying for a remand until January 4. The remand was granted. On tho application of the maintenance officer, Mr. P. Jones, an affiliation order in respect of the child of a third woman was issued against accused, who consented to the order. Maintenance Y*as fixed at 12s 6d a week.
