GOOD BEACH CLUB

Honolulu has evolved an idea which could be followed to advantage, and that is the establishment of the Outrigger Club. The club has an area of ground adjoining the beach, where there is a tuck shop and a kitchen. Members can brew their own tea for lunches to be served under the coolness of lattice and trees. A kitchenman sees to the boiling of the water, and does all the washing-up. In addition, there is the boon of a bath-house for both men and women, really a glorified bathing-shed, but with this additional feature; the attendants in charge take care of bathing costumes and towels, and have them always -washed and dried and ready for use.
