CHRISTMAS PARTY
MOTHERS’ CLUB AT Y.W.C.A. The assembly hall of the Y.W.C.A. presented a very gay scene on Saturday. when the members of the Mothers’ Club held their annual children’s Christmas party. The hall was decorated with streamers and balloons and at 5 o’clock two hundred happy children sat down to tea. After tea games, competitions, dancing, songs and recitations were indulged in by the children, and Santa Claus was literally besieged. The children were marched past, each child receiving a gift.
Great credit was due to all those who helped to make the party a success. The duties of Santa Claus were very ably carried out by Mr. Sanders.
