GOOD BRIGADE WORK Press A ssocia t io » NAPIER, To-day. A large building known as Kaulknor’s Coach Factory, in Hastings Street, was totally destroyed by fire this morning. Wooden buildings near-bpr were saved by excellent brigade work and the good water supply. Messrs. Holmes and Roberts, Ltd., and W. R. Moss were the occupiers of th building. Th; latters’ business was not insured. but the former’s was covered for £450 in the South British office. The building itself was covered for £750, divided between the South British and Atlas offices.

NOTHING SAVED

Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. A four-roomed house in Mangore> Road, New Plymouth, owned and occupied by L. Deighton, was destroyed by fire early this morning. Nothing was saved. The house was insured for £4OO and the furniture and piano for £165.
