BUTCHER TAKES POISON DEATH IN HOSPITAL Taking poison in mistake for a nerve tonic was the cause of the death of William Lorrigan Moylan, ! aged 54, a butcher living at 50 Ponsonby Road, who died in Hospital last evening. Giving evidence at the inquest, which was opened this morning, Leo Adelbert Moylan, son of the deceased, said that his father took the tonic for his nerve<s. He also had a bad leg, which for the two days before his death, had prevented him from working. He had the poison for shortly before he died that he had dressing his leg and had told his son mistaken the bottles, and had drunk some of the poison. His father had had no sleep for two days, owing to the pain in his leg and, no doubt, that had made him depressed. The inquest was adjourned.
