BIG FIRE IN N.S.W.
Heed. 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A fire at a church at Point Pittwater, on the coast of North Sydney, destroyed a general store, the post office, refreshment rooms, a bank, a parage and several cars, a launch and 40 boats. A curious feature of the blaze was that it was first noticed by a resident on the opposite side of the bay, whose telephone inquiries led to the discovery locally.
