BOARD GRANTS SUBSIDIES The Board of Governors of. the Auckland Grammar School, at its meeting yesterday, decided to grant subsidies for sports—£loo to the Auckland Grammar School, £7l to the Mount Albert Grammar School, and £3O to Takapuna. Suggestions for the dates of the prize-giving ceremonies of the various schools submitted by the headmasters were discussed, and it was decided to point out that the closing date for all schools had been fixed for December 19. and this date was to be observed.
