BYRD EXPEDITION AIRPLANES TO BE LOADED Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. It has definitely been decided by Commander R. Byrd that his second ship, City of New York, will go direct to Dunedin, arriving there about November 28, and will not call at Wellington. All arrangements necessary to allow the expedition to leave New Zealand for the Antarctic as close to schedule as possible have been completed. Commander Byrd and the other members of the expedition at present in Wellington will leave for Dunedin at the end of this week. The Eleanor Bolling, due at Wellington on Thursday from Dunedin, will load the airplanes and other equipment landed from the C. A. Larsen. She will return to Dunedin about the end of the week to conclude arrangements to despatch the City of New York from Dunedin about December 3. She will join the whaler C. A. Larsen and her chasers near the pack ice and follow them through to the open water of the Ross Sea.
